Annual All Breed B Match

Links of Interest

Thank you for your interest in the Elgin Kennel Club.

Our general meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at the

Colonial Cafe, 552 S Randall Rd, St Charles, IL.  Phone (630) 443-8338.

The principal events of the Elgin Kennel Club are the two-day back-to-back shows in August

and the AKC B-OB sanctioned match in conjunction with our ll breed show.  We have monthly business and social meetings.

Occasionally we have guest speakers.  We do not have training facilities and/or classes but can

refer you to Obedience Training Clubs and Conformation Classes in the area.
We feel that the Elgin Kennel Club Shows are one of the best shows in this area.

We hope that you have the opportunity to attend our August shows and can see our club in action.
Also the annual Elgin Kennel Club AKC B-OB sanctioned match is one of the largest and best run matches in this area.

The membership is open to all persons 18 years of age and older who are in good

standing with the AKC and subscribe to the purposes of the Club.  The Elgin Kennel

Club has a very active membership, many of who are either actively showing their

breed, active in other clubs, and/or are Judges.  The Elgin Kennel Club expects its

members to be active in the club, attend the monthly meetings and work at our

events.  The club is very fortunate to have hard working members who take great

pride in their club and make the shows and matches the successes they are.

The exceptions of the meetings are that in December we have a Club Christmas

Dinner at a different location.

Also depending on the timing of Westminster Kennel

Club, the February meeting is usually rescheduled.

The membership meetings start at 8 pm (or shortly afterwards) on the second Tuesday of the

month.  Many of the members come earlier, sometime after 7 pm and have dinner and

socialize with other members.  We try to have various educational programs that

relate to dog events.

Board meetings start at 7:30 pm on the first Tuesday of the month.

We are always looking for interested people and invite you to join us at one of our meetings.

Should you have any questions regarding our club, please contact our Secretary for more information.
